PTCOG 56 Travel Fellowship Program

For the upcoming PTCOG 56 Conference in Japan, May 08 - 13, 2017, again Travel Fellowship Awards for young scientists are available.

About 10-15 applicants will get a grant for PTCOG 56. A candidate for a Travel Fellowship Award must be a person, who:

  1. has not recieved a PTCOG travel fellowship previously;
  2. is at most 5 years beyond his or her highest degree and has at least one-half year’s, and at most 3 year’s, experience in particle beam therapy;
  3. is a member of, or at least affiliated with, an institution which must either: have, be building, or be in advanced stages of planning of a particle therapy facility;
  4. and, whose institution will undertake to cover any additional costs of a fellow’s attendance at the society’s meeting.

Applications will be accepted from maximum two candidates from any given institution. However, an effort will be made to have representation from as wide a geographic area as possible.

Travel fellows, which submit an abstract for the Scientific Meeting are especially welcome.
