The University of Duisburg-Essen is inviting applications for a
Junior Professorship in Translational Particle Therapy
(Bes.-Gr. W 1 LBesO W – with Tenure Track - W 2)
We are one of the youngest universities in Germany and think in terms of possibilities instead of possible limitations. Located in the heart of the Ruhr metropolis, we have 11 faculties seeking to develop innovative ideas for the future. We are dedicated to research and teaching, live diversity, support potential and are highly committed to educational equality.
The University of Duisburg-Essen is looking for clever minds
Our goal is to win outstanding young professors and to offer them the best opportunities for scientific and personal development. We support and promote young scientists individually through the Graduate Center (GC Plus), the Tenure Track Program (TT Plus) and the Personnel Development (PE Plus). When many clever minds come together, everyone benefits. Therefore, we network our offers in the Research Academy Ruhr with the Ruhr-Universität Bochum and the Technische Universität Dortmund.
In total, we are filling 23 new positions in the federal-state program for the promotion of young scientists (WISNA). In the first instance, we are looking for eligible candidates for the following nine junior professorships with tenure track:
